If you live in Colorado and would like to register with HomeLife Academy, it is not necessary for you a Notice of Intent for your K-12 grade students with the local school board or county. In Colorado, there are two common options. You can enroll with a Colorado Independent School like HomeLife Academy. When enrolling with an independent school, you will only be required to meet the requirements for that school. You can also file a Notice of Intent with the county or local board of education. A third option is to use a private Colorado certified teacher to tutor your child. Please read the HSLDA summary below carefully as it is important to know your legal rights.
