Missionary Spotlight

Each month, we
spotlight one of our
HLA missionary
families encouraging
you to join us in
prayer for them and their
ministries. This
month, we are
featuring the
Platillero family,
serving in Spain.

“We are serving at a
Torchbearers International
Bible School and Christian
Retreat Center. Joe is the
director of the center and Cindy
and children help out in many
ways. We have been
here for 10 years and are
honored to be part of the Lord’s
work here in Spain where
there is a deep economic and
spiritual crisis.”

Please pray for the
Platillero family and
our other families serving Christ throughout the world!

Curriculum Corner

The Art of Argument introduces
your teens to fallacious
arguments and helps them
gain the discernment
necessary to detect
fact from fiction. Six chapters
cover 28 fallacies using
examples, illustrations and
review questions. A DVD
set and teacher’s book
are available along with the
student text.

Tell us your favorite curriculum.
Whether you have used it in
the past or are using it now,
sharing this information with
others is valuable. We will
highlight them in our
upcoming newsletters!
E-mail us about what curriculum
you love and why you love it
