Aidan Galloway nominated for scholarship

HomeLife Academy senior Aidan Galloway was nominated for the 2016-17 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program. The program, funded through the Comcast Foundation, “recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for their commitment to community service, academics and demonstrated leadership.” Read more about Aidan next week on the HLA blog? Curriculum Corner

Math Mammoth is a full service math website offering complete math curriculum for first through seventh grades, and supplemental math materials for third grade through Algebra 1 for students. The lessons are non-scripted, which means the student may work through the lessons independently without the need of teacher prompting. They “speak” directly to the student, so your child is somewhat teaching himself and learning as he completes the lessons. Math Mammoth is a mastery-based curriculum, so the student completes lessons that cover one topic until he has mastered the material. Watch an overview of Math Mammoth to learn more about the curriculum.
