There is no doubt about it. Homeschool teachers deserve to be celebrated. It has happened for many years, but officially since 2014 when Apologia Ministries created Homeschool Teacher Appreciation Day #HSTA. The one-day event is usually held late April when school is about to wind down. Our children are not the only ones who have worked hard all school year long. HomeLife Academy (HLA) takes the celebration even further by celebrating homeschool teachers during that week with fun and giveaways only a homeschool teacher would enjoy.
Homeschool Teacher Appreciation Day will be held on Thursday, April 27, this year. On Monday, April 24, HLA will begin its week of fun and giveaways that will be held each day through Friday, April 28. The list of giveaways includes the following:
Monday – Journaling Bible and $50 Amazon Gift Card
Tuesday – At-Home Spa Day Package
Wednesday – $100 Lowe’s Gift Card
Thursday – Teacher of the Year Award
Friday – One Hour Massage Envy Gift Card
Along with the prizes to be won, one homeschool teacher will be awarded HLA Teacher of the Year! That could be you! Although your children may not tell you every day, they appreciate you and may show it by telling us about you. All they have to do is write a one paragraph telling us why you deserve to should be recognized as HLA Teacher of the Year; one short paragraph. The winner will receive a $150 Amazon gift card, one free registration for 2017/2018 and family T-shirts. All entrants will also receive one free T-shirt for their entry. All submissions must be received by Wednesday, April 24. Submit yours now.
During that week, you will also be able to save 15 percent on your 2017/2018 HLA registration.
Apologia will also celebrate the week starting on April 24 and has even bigger plans on Thursday. There will be free downloads for children, Instagram challenges, twitter parties, webinars and more. Visit the official Homeschool Teacher Appreciation Day #HSTA for more information.
“HLA thanks you homeschool teachers for everything you do.”
