Have you ever wondered what goes on under water in the ocean? Well, you may find out when you attend Seaside Chats 2018 when it returns to Texas this month at Texas A&M Galveston. Seaside Chats has provided on-site and online learning experiences, through webinars, on ocean topics for people around the world for almost ten years.

Seaside Chats are hosted by the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (FGBNMS) and introduce middle school and older students to the wonders of the sea with topics like “sanctuary wildlife and tools for exploration to sanctuary expansion and shipwrecks.” Although the chats are geared towards older children, some younger ones may also be interested in the topics that are covered.

Registration for the Seaside Chats is easy. If you are in the Galveston area, there is no need to R.S.V.P.; just show up for the chat at the Texas A&M Galveston, Waterfront Pavilion. Online registration for the webinar is free and will bring the presentation right into your home or classroom. may also be appealing to all with the remote webinar presentation. The one hour chats begin at 6:30 p.m. CST on Wednesdays.
